Since its inception in 1992, Insight Marketing Systems
has been led by its founders, who remain active in
the day-to-day running of the business.
Christopher Forbes VP Business Development
Chris co-founded Insight Marketing Systems in 1992.
He has more than 16 years experience in the marketing
information space, focusing on developing systems to
help enterprises maximize the return on their marketing
information assets.
Prior to founding Insight Marketing Systems, Chris
worked as strategic marketing consultant, specializing
in developing and implementing marketing systems for
geographically diverse enterprises.
Clients included Mobil/Exxon, Mayne Group Ltd, Pacific
Dunlop Ltd, KFC, Nippon Electric Company (NEC), Kodak,
British Tyre and Rubber (BTR Plc)
Chris's foundation years were spent with Shell Australia,
where he worked for 5 years in a range of marketing
management positions.
Chris has a double major degree (Commerce and Psychology)
from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and
a Graduate Diploma in Market Modeling (Swinburne University
of Technology).
Daryl Maloney McCall VP Sales & Marketing
Daryl has over 15 years experience
in research management and marketing consulting, and
along with Chris is a
co-founder and Director of Insight Marketing Systems.
Daryl has worked as both a buyer and supplier of market
research, and has extensive experience across a diverse
range of marketing information areas including primary
and secondary market research, competitor intelligence,
and geo-demography.
Daryl has worked for international companies including
Shell and Mintel, and consulted to numerous industry
leaders such as Toyota, Westpac Bank, CSIRO (Australia's
Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation), Diners
Club, IKEA and Australia Post.
Daryl has a double major in Psychology (Science) from
the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Gordon Funk VP Systems Development
Gord joined Insight Marketing Systems in 2000 as head
of the Application Development Team. Gord brings to
the team a rare combination of business process understanding,
an ability to communicate across multiple levels within
the business, and a strong technical competency.
Prior to joining IMS, Gord held a variety of technical
management positions with SystemHouse Canada, now part
of EDS.
Gord has a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) from
the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.
